Sailing and Sauvignon Blanc

Last Saturday was extremely hot, so my parents planned a day of sailing to celebrate my 28th birthday.  It turned out to be kind of a disaster - a battery that didn't work, which meant getting in and out of our slip without a motor (which lead to some injuries).  Add to that a lunch order that never came, and the worst possible service at dinner and you couldn't help but laugh.  However, we had wine and good company so the day ended up being pretty good (birthday cake remix from Coldstone also helped).

Haley's Senior Photos

This beautiful young woman is graduating from high school! I'm freaking out a little because I used to babysit her about a decade or so ago (does this mean I'm getting old?).  We headed out to Yorba Regional Park and the Newport Beach pier and I had so much fun shooting her!

Prom 2013

I can't believe I forgot to post these photos last month!  I got the opportunity to snap shots of a lovely prom group, which had their dinner on the beach (it was the most darling set-up), and I had so much fun taking these picture.  This group of kids had the best sense of humor and were very sweet.  I hope you enjoy these just as much as I did (this is just a small sampling, more can be found here)!

Christmas Cards for the Coad Family

A couple weeks ago, I raced to Newport Beach after work to take these pictures of the beautiful Coad family, who needed some photos for their annual Christmas card.  I had so much fun!  Even though it was a bit overcast, I think these came out pretty good (if I do say so myself).  We had fun goofing off at the beach, and they took me to a lovely dinner after.  These shots are all taken by lifeguard tower 19.  Enjoy!
